Essential protocols for aesthetic area: Partial Extraction Therapy, mIVAN, soft tissue augmentation techniques.

This course will provide attendees with an in-depth review of every aspect of Partial Extraction Therapy: socket shield with immediate and delayed implant placement, pontic shield, proximal shield, root submergence therapy, socket shield with apicoectomy, and with the newest development in utilization of partial extraction therapies.

We will go through the decision tree for the implant surgical procedures in the aesthetic area and put emphasis on the mIVAN technique: simultaneous hard and soft tissue augmentation for socket type 2 and 3, and ridge with horizontal atrophy.

Tunnel and VISTA technique are useful soft tissue augmentation techniques. Which are the indications and how to perform them?

Buccal Sliding Palatal Flap is a novel technique (with an old flap design) to cover the augmented sites and much more.

Very intensive hands-on will utilize by Snjezana Pohl designed prosthetic models, suitable both for Partial Extraction Therapy and soft tissue management.

Participants will:

- Understand the biologic and clinical rationale for PET
- Be able to determine the indications and contraindications for PET
- Learn step-by-step PET protocol
- Learn how to prevent and manage the complications
- learn particularities of tunnel and VISTA technique
- be able to apply mIVAN technique for Socket type 2 and 3, and ridge with horizontal atrophy
- be able to apply a novel technique for the wound closure in the upper jaw

Αυτό το masterclass θα προσφέρει στους συμμετέχοντες μία εις βάθος ανάλυση όλων των πτυχών του Partial Extraction Therapy: Socket Shield με άμεση και μεθύστερη τοποθέτηση εμφυτεύματος, Pontic Shield, Proximal Shield, Root Submergence Therapy, Socket Shield με ακρορριζεκτομή και νεότερες εξελίξεις στην εφαρμογή των Partial Extraction Therapies.

Θα εξεταστεί λεπτομερώς ο αλγόριθμος αποφάσεων για τις χειρουργικές εμφυτευματικές διαδικασίες στην αισθητική ζώνη και θα δωθεί έμφαση στην τεχνική mIVAN: ταυτόχρονη αύξηση μαλακών και σκληρών ιστών για φατνία τύπου 2 και 3 και ακρολοφίες με οριζόντια απώλεια.

Οι τεχνικές τούνελ και VISTA είναι χρήσιμες τεχνικές για την αύξηση των μαλακών ιστών. Ποιες είναι οι ενδείξεις και πως εφαρμόζονται;

Ο παρειακά ολισθαίνων υπερώιος κρημνός είναι μία καινοτόμα τεχνική (με ένα παραδοσιακό σχεδιασμό κρημνού) για την κάλυψη αναπλασμένων αλλά και άλλων περιοχών των γνάθων.

Πολύ αναλυτικά hands-on workshops σε εκμαγεία σχεδιασμένα από την Dr. Snjezana Pohl κατάλληλα για Partial Extraction Therapy και για την διαχείριση μαλακών ιστών.

Οι συμμετέχοντες θα:

- Κατανοήσουν την βιολογική και κλινική λογική της θεραπείας PET
- Αποσαφηνίσουν τις ενδείξεις και τις αντενδείξεις της θεραπείας PET
- Μάθουν βήμα-βήμα το πρωτόκολλο PET
- Μάθουν πως να αντιμετωπίζουν και να προλαμβάνουν τις επιπλοκές
- Μάθουν τις λεπτομέρειες των τεχνικών τούνελ και VISTA.
- Μπορούν να εφαρμόσουν την τεχνικήmIVAN για φατνία τύπου 2 και 3, και ακρολοφίες με οριζόντια ατροφία.
- Μπορούν να εφαρμόσουν μία πρωτοποριακή τεχνική για την συρραφή τραύματος στην άνω γνάθο

Snjezana Pohl, Dr. med., Dr. med. dent.

Snjezana Pohl is both doctor of human and dental medicine. She is a specialist in oral surgery and EDA certificated specialist for periodontology and implantology.

Currently she is head of the Department for Oral Surgery in the private clinic Rident, Croatia. Designated as an assistant professor, she additionally is giving lectures at the Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology at the School of Dental Medicine of the University of Rijeka.

Since 2015, she is a DentalXP expert and a worldwide lecturer in dental meetings.

As an active lecturer and author of scientific papers, in the fields of implantology and periodontology, she underlines the importance of minimally invasive techniques, especially in a comprehensive treatment methodology, based upon preservation of tissues. These techniques include Partial Extraction Therapies, Autogenous Tissue Utilization, Osseodensification and others. She is author of two techniques: mIVAN technique and Buccal sliding palatal flap for wound closure after grafting procedures.
