Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

How SSL works

With SSL o user computer through which encrypted SSL communication is to be performed, it sends the request to the server, which uses a digital security certificate and hosts omnipress.gr to which is to be made online transaction. The Server sends: a) the security certificate on the user’s computer and confirms that he has visited the right page and b) the public key (password). The user’s computer, uses the public key to encrypt confidential information (eg. The number of credit card). Then this information is sent to the server using the private key to decrypt them.
