Description of the Course

This course is designed for periodontists and implantologists with surgical experience who are eager to deepen their knowledge of minimally invasive tunneling procedures in aesthetic periodontal plastic surgery and soft tissue management around implants for aesthetic purposes or complication management.

Minimally Invasive Techniques You Will Learn

During the course, you will have the opportunity to review all proposed tunneling techniques, from the envelope graft to full-thickness, split-thickness, Coronally Advanced flap, Lateral Advanced Tunneling, and the minimally invasive technique proposed by Dr. Vincent Ronco (FR).
We will use autologous tissues and soft tissue substitute materials to enhance tissues for regeneration and plastic-aesthetic surgery around teeth and implants.

The indications for minimally invasive mucogingival treatments, case presentations, practical hands-on, and surgical videos will provide a 360° comprehensive training on the use of soft tissue grafting techniques to achieve predictable and aesthetic results

We will also delve into other significant outcome parameters, such as the increase of keratinized tissue around implants.

Pre-Course Recommendations for Hands-On Training

We will provide everything essential for training: specially designed working models, microsurgical instruments, sutures, etc. However, we recommend bringing your own lenses/lights (2.5x to 4.5x magnification is ideal). You will be using these tools immediately after this training, so it’s beneficial to get accustomed to them.

Additionally, we advise watching the online videos that are part of the course to get an idea of the treatment philosophy and key concepts that will be addressed. This will help you gain even more from practical sessions.
