Dr. Alexandros Manolakis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. After graduating from the University of Freiburg in Germany in 2002, he received his Dr. Med. Dent. degree from the University of Göttingen in Germany in 2003. He was a visiting associate professor in the department of Periodontology in the University of Freiburg until 2004. After attending military service in Greece as a dentist, he maintains since 2006 a private practice specializing dental implants together with his brother, Kleanthis Manolakis, in Thessaloniki, Greece. Dr. Alexandros Manolakis is coauthor of a German Periodontology Textbook (Praxis der Zahnheilkunde, Parodontologie, 4th Ed; Elsevier, 2005), has published articles in dental journals and held presentations in various international congresses. He is an official teaching mentor for different dental implant systems in Greece and Germany and he is giving lectures as well as hands-on courses with live-surgeries in implantology, soft-tissue-management and bone-management. Areas of special interest include Periodontal Micro-Surgery, Computer-Guided Implant Placement and Immediate Loading of Implants placed in the Edentulous Jaw. He is an affiliate member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

Dr Angelopoulos is a graduate of the Aristotle University, School of Dentistry, Thessaloniki, Greece. His post-doctoral training includes a 3yr internship in Oral Surgery (Aristotle University, 1997) and a 1yr GPR program (Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, 1999). In addition, he has completed a 3yr Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency program at University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry (2001) and he was awarded the MS degree in Oral Biology (2002). He has completed has PhD degree in 2009. His degree was the result of a collaborative effort between Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr Angelopoulos is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists. He has held academic appointments at University of Missouri-Kansas City (assistant professor 2002-2007) and a t Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine (associate professor and director of the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, 2007-2011). He is currently serving as maxillofacial radiology consultant at the Bronx Hospital of Veterans Affairs. Dr Angelopoulos is the Executive Director of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and has served in the Executive Council of this organization for more than 7 yrs. He is the Associate Editor of Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology (OOOO). He has published more than 30 scientific papers and has spoken in several conventions and CE courses, nationally as well as internationally, on a variety of radiology topics. His main research interests include diagnostic ultrasound, cone beam computed tomography, implant imaging etc. Dr Angelopoulos is licensed in the states of Missouri and New York. He also holds a dental license in Thessaloniki, Greece. He maintains a private practice dedicated to oral and maxillofacial image interpretation and consultation services.
Daniel Edelhoff granted his Certified Dental Technician degree from the Dental technician school in Düsseldorf, Germany. He graduated from Dental School in 1991 and earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Aachen, Germany in 1994. He served as Visiting Professor at the Dental Clinical Research Center of the Oregon Health and Sciences University, Portland, Oregon from 1999 to 2001.
He granted his Ph.D. in June 2003 at the University of Aachen and is currently Director and Chair at the Department of Prosthodontics and Dental Material Sciences at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. Daniel Edelhoff is board certified Specialist in Prosthodontics and holds membership in the German Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine and the German Society Dental Prosthetics and Biomaterial Sciences (DGPro).
He is Vice-President of the Association of Dental Technology (ADT), member of the advisory board of the DGPro, Associate Member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED) and International College of Dentists (ICD), as well as Scientific Chairman of the 8th World Congress of the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry (IFED) 2013 in Munich. Daniel Edelhoff received in 2010 the award “Best Lecture” by the Association of Dental Technology (ADT), in 2011 the award “Best article of the year” by the Italian Dental Dialogue Journal, and in 2011/2012/2013 three awards “Best Teacher” by the dental students of the Ludwig- Maximilians-University and the Bavarian Association of Dentists. Since 2014 he is Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) as well as Associate Editor of the multidisciplinary international research journal Clinical Oral Investigations.
Dr. Dietmar Weng graduated from the University of Marburg, Germany, in 1993, and spent the subsequent 3 years as Assistant Professor at the University of Freiburg, Germany, Department of Prosthodontics. From 1996 to 1998 he worked as Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Houston , USA , Department of Endodontics and Periodontics, and did extensive research on dental implants and regenerative materials. From 1999 to 2004 he was Associate Professor at the University of Würzburg, Germany, Department of Prosthodontics. Apart from conventional fixed prosthodontics and esthetic rehabilitations, his main focus lies on surgical and prosthetic aspects of prosthetically driven implantology and soft tissue management upon which he has lectured and published nationally and internationally. Dr.Weng is a member of several scientific societies and serves on the editorial board of the Quintessence journal "Implantologie". Since2004 he has practiced in aprivate office in Starnberg, Germany, specializing in implant dentistry and periodontics.

Dimitrios Papadimitriou - Periodontist - Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology - Rescue Training International First Aid Instructor - Dr. Dimitrios Papadimitriou is a graduate of School of Dentistry, University of Athens, since 2006. During 2008-2011, he received specialty training in Periodontics and Implants at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester, NY. The following year he was awarded the International Team for Oral Implantology (ITI) Scholarship, where he continued his training in Implantology at the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences, Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Papadimitriou is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since 2012. He is currently part time Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester. He lectures nationally and internationally and has published articles in international dental journals. His private practice is limited to Periodontics and Implants.
Dr. Euwe obtained his degree in 1982 at the University of Utrecht (Holland).
His professional career started in Monte Carlo in a general practice, and following this he moved to Italy. Since 1986 his main interests in the dental field have been periodontics and oral implantology, and he has been practicing surgery in his own private office and the offices of various colleagues in Northern Italy.
Following numerous post-graduate courses, Dr. Euwe studied under Dr. Sascha Jovanovic at UCLA from 1992 to 1996. Soon after this he began to lecture extensively in Italy and abroad on advanced implantology. He is fluent in English, Italian, German, and Dutch, and speaks a little French.
Dr. Euwe is a member of the UCLA European Study Club, and in January of 1997, this group presented him an award for the "Best Clinical-Scientific Presentation."
Dr. Euwe is the co-author of several scientific publications. He and his prosthodontist and lab technician won first and second prize in two categories in the international competition of the "Parallelometro d oro 1999" (Dental Labor Journal).
He was involved in the Department of Periodontics of the University of Milan at the San Paolo Hospital where he did clinical research on resorption of newly formed bone. He worked at the Department of Periodontology with Prof. Massimo Simion at Milan University. Active member of European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). Dr. Goumenos graduated from the School of Pharmacy (University of Athens, Greece) in 1982 and the School of Dentistry in 1988. He graduated from the Dpt. of Periodontology of Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine, Boston, where he obtained his Certificate in Periodontology in 1990 and his Master of Science Degree in 1991 from the Graduate School of the same University. He received a Doctorate Degree in 1998 from the Dpt. of Periodontology, of the University of Athens, Greece.
Dr. Goumenos was announced Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 1996.
He was appointed Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Dpt. of Periodontology, Tufts University, Boston, and since 1991 he has been a clinical instructor at the Dpt. of Periodontology of the University of Athens, Greece.
He has published several articles to date and he is lecturing both nationwide and internationally; he is a faculty member of gIDE and a member of AAP, EFP, AAO and EAO.
His main interest is in the biology of oral tissues and their management in periodontal and implant reconstructive plastic surgery.
Dr. George Goumenos has been in private practice since 1992, devoted exclusively to Periodontics and Dental implants in Athens, Greece.
Dr. Ilia Roussou received her undergraduate degree in Dentistry (D.D.S) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She obtained her certificate in Prosthodontics from the graduate program of Temple University, Philadelphia, USA. Continuing her graduates studies, Dr. Roussou obtained her certificate in Orofacial Pain from University of Kentucky, in Lexington, USA.
In 2004, she obtained her PhD degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Following her professional training Dr. Roussou established a private practice in Athens, limited to Prosthodontics and Orofacial Pain treatment.
She is an assistant professor at the department of prosthodontics, dental school, university of Athens, Greece.
Dr. Roussou is active member of many professional societies. Her professional affiliations include the European academy of Craniomandibular Disorders (EACD), International College of Dentistry (ICD), European Prosthodontics Society (EPA), European Osseointegration Society.

Dr Ioannis Fakitsas was borned in Nikaia-Attica, Greece at 1958.
He is married, father of five children and grandfather.
He is Graduate of the Greek Military Medical Academy(ΣΣΑΣ) and the Dental School of Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki (1981).
He completed his residency training at 1989 in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University, Boston USA (1985-1989).
Dr Fakitsas continued his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at 1995 and 2000 in the USA as well as in Germany.
He served the Hellenic Navy as an active duty Naval Officer from 1981 to 2008.Former director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service at the Naval and Veterans Hospital of Athens,Greece (1994-2008)
He has more than 200 clinical presentations in Hellenic and International academic activities.
The main clinical interests are: Oral Surgery, Implantology, Orthognathic Surgery, Facial Traumatology and Reconstructive Surgery of the Facial skeleton.

Dr Valavanis attended the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Dental School, Greece, where he received his degree in dentistry in 2000. After graduating he was trained in implant dentistry in Kraichtal Germany and the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston MA. He was then trained in implant prosthetics by Prof. Nitzan Bichacho, Tel Aviv Israel. Dr Valavanis is Professor a.c. in the Oral Surgery Department, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, ITALY He is a senior partner in the Athens Dental Institute, Athens, Greece. he currently serves as the president of ICOI-Hellas, Ambassador and member on the board of directors of ICOI, board member of the SENAME Implantology Association (Naples-Italy) and on the editorial Board for the implant dentistry journal. He is also founding member and implantology specialist of the German Implantology Society (DGOI) and Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Graduated 1984 in Zürich and received the degree of DR. in 1986 at the University of Zürich, his certificate as specialist in Periodontics in 1993 (Swiss Society of Periodontology), the Docent (Associate Professor) degree in 1996 from the Department of Prosthodontics, Albert-Ludwigs University, Freiburg Gemany, and his certificate in Prosthodontics in 1997 (German Society of Prosthodontics). He is currently practising periodontics, and implant dentistry in Munich, Germany and is Clinical Associate Professor at the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology, and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas, Houston, Dental Branch, Department of Stomatology. Dr. Hürzeler has produced more than 100 scientific publications within the field of implants, periodontology, and tissue regeneration and is a regular national and international lecturer. His special research interests are in immediate loading of implants, tissue regeneration with grow factors, and therapy of per-implant lesions.
Dr. Otto Zuhr studied dentistry at the University of Aachen from 1986 until 1992. In 1992 he received his DMD from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Aachen.
Several educational programs led him to Switzerland, Scandinavia and USA during the following years. From 1999-2008 he worked together with Drs. Bolz, Wachtel and Hürzeler in the Institute of Periodontology and Implantology (IPI) in Munich.
In 2001 he received his Specialist in Periodontology of the German Society of Periodontology (DGP). Since 2009 he is in professional partnership with Marc Hürzeler. Presently he's holding an assistant professorship position in the department of periodontology at the University of Frankfurt (Director: Prof. Peter Eickholz).
Otto Zuhr has written several articles in the field of periodontology and aesthetic dentistry and is lecturing nationally and internationally.
Since 2007 he is board member of the German Society of Periodontology (DGP). His book "Plastic Esthetic Periodontal and Implant Surgery" was published by Quintessence in 2011.
Dr. Spyros Karatzas graduated from the Dental School of University of Athens Greece in 1990. He has also received a D.M.D. degree from Boston University. He completed his specialty training in Periodontology and Implants at Eastman Dental Center of University of Rochester New York in 1994, where he received his Masters Degree in Dental Research in 1995. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since 1996. At the same year he won the Michael Bonocore Award for outstanding Scientific Merit from the Rochester Section of the International Association for Dental Research.
Dr Spyros Karatzas has served as full time Assistant Professor from 1995 to 1996 at the Dept. of Periodontology and Implants of University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center, and from 1996 until 2000 at the Dept. of Periodontology of Goldman School of Dental Medicine of Boston University.
He is currently Clinical Instructor in the Dept. of Periodontology of the Dental School of the University of Athens Greece, Visiting Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Periodontology of Boston University, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Periodontology of University of Rochester. He is the editor-in-chief of the Endo-Perio Journal, and in the editorial advisory board of the Journal Esthetic Dentistry and Implants.
Dr. Karatzas is the Vice President of the Hellenic Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, the Vice President of the Dental Association of Achaia, and member of the board of the Hellenic Academy of Microscopic Dentistry. He has a private practice limited to Periodontology and Implants in Patra Greece, where he emphasizes in plastic periodontal surgery and hard and soft tissue reconstruction around implants and natural teeth. He has been a member of the organizing committee in several dental meetings and lectures extensively on topics of dental implants and periodontal plastic surgery.
Dr. Stavros Pelekanos received his undergraduate degree in Dentistry (D.D.S.) in 1991 from the University of Athens, Greece. In 1993, he obtained his doctoral degree in Prosthodontics (Dr meddent) from the University of Freiburg (Prof. Dr. J.R. Strub), Germany. Following his professional training, Dr. Pelekanos established a private practice in Athens, oriented towards prosthodontics, implantology and esthetic dentistry.
In 2002, he was appointed full-time Lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics, Dental School, University of Athens, Greece, and is now Assistant Professor in the same department. Since 2013 he is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). His professional affiliations include: the International College of Prosthodontics (ICP), European Prosthodontic Association (EPA), Greek Prosthodontic Association and many others.
