Mε δύο πολύ ξεχωριστές ομιλίες θα υποστηρίξει η εταιρία Δ. Μαυραειδόπουλος Α.Ε. ,την φετινή χρονιά, το 30ο Πανελλήνιο Συνέδριο Στοματικής και Γναθοπροσωπικής Χειρουργικής, HAOMS 2021, το οποίο θα διεξαχθεί αποκλειστικά διαδικτυακά.

Την Παρασκευή 22-01-2021, 14:00-15:00 θα έχετε την ευκαιρία να συνδεθείτε μέσω της ιστοσελίδας https://www.haoms2021.org, στο Room 2 για να παρακολουθήσετε τον Δρ. Δημήτρη Χαρούλη να απαντάει στο μόνιμο ερώτημα  όσων ασχολούνται με αισθητικές αποκαταστάσεις:”Can Aesthetics take the FUN out of FUNction?”

Η έκβαση ενός κλινικού περιστατικού συνδέεται άρρηκτα με τον βαθμό  επικινδυνότητας της χειρουργικής επέμβασης και της αποκατάστασης, καθώς και με τον βαθμό πολυπλοκότητας τόσο των λειτουργικών όσο και των προσθετικών φάσεων της θεραπείας. Η τελική επιτυχία κάθε επέμβασης, είτε πρόκειται για μαλακό ιστό είτε όχι, θα καθοριστεί από ορισμένα πολύ συγκεκριμένα κριτήρια, τα οποία αφορούν την αισθητική και την λειτουργικότητα.

Η αναζήτηση υψηλής αισθητικής γίνεται συχνά μια μάταιη προσπάθεια, για χάρη της οποίας ενδέχεται και να μην δοθεί η απαιτούμενη σημασία στις βασικές λειτουργίες του στοματογναθικού συστήματος. Η παρουσίαση του Δρ. Χαρούλη θα επικεντρωθεί στο πως λειτουργούν οι ανατομικές και βιολογικές δομές, οι οποίες θα υποστηρίξουν μια αποκατάσταση με τοποθέτηση εμφυτεύματος και στο σχέδιο θεραπείας. Μέσα από κλινικά περιστατικά θα δούμε στην πράξη αν μπορεί τελικά η αισθητική, μόνη της, να οδηγήσει σε βιώσιμες επιεμφυτευματικές αποκαταστάσεις ή όχι.

Την επόμενη ημέρα, Σάββατο 23/01/2021 και πάλι από τις 14:00 έως τις 15:00, στο Room 2 (https://www.haoms2021.or) θα λάβει μέρος η δεύτερη παρουσίαση-ομιλία, την οποία προσφέρει η εταιρία Δ. Μαυραειδόπουλος Α.Ε., πλατινένιος χορηγός στο HAOMS 2021, με τίτλο “The Digital Workflow – From your practice to your lab and back again” και ομιλητές τους Dr Martin Wanendeya, και Steven Campbell.

H ψηφιακή ροή εργασίας συνήθως περιγράφεται μονομερώς, είτε όπως αυτή εξελίσσεται μέσα στο οδοντιατρείο είτε εντός του οδοντοτεχνικού εργαστηρίου. Στην συγκεκριμένη παρουσίαση οι ομιλητές θα παρουσιάσουν και θα αναπτύξουν όλα τα στάδια που λαμβάνουν μέρος στην ψηφιακή ροή εργασίας κατά  την τοποθέτηση εμφυτεύματος ξεκινώντας από το πρώτο ραντεβού με τον ασθενή στο οδοντιατρείο, συνεχίζοντας στο οδοντοτεχνικό εργαστήριο και επιστρέφοντας πάλι στο οδοντιατρείο για την ολοκλήρωση της αποκατάστασης.

Dr.Dimitrios D. Charoulis

Dr. Dimitris Charoulis is a Dentist of Greek origins, practicing and living mainly abroad. After graduating the Dental Faculty in 2004 as top of the class receiving the title of DMD, Dimitrios D. Charoulis became a Teaching Assistant at the Dental Faculty of the RWTH University of Aachen, in Germany. As a Resident at the department of Periodontology, he conducted a 3 years clinical research in the field of “Aggressive Periodontitis“leading to his Doctorate title, awarded with “magna cum laude” (supervised by Prof. Dr. F. Lampert & Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. H. Spiekermann) in 2007. His further education was influenced by his passion for innovation and high-end technologies in Dentistry. A Master of Science postgraduate program in “Lasers in Dentistry” at the RWTH Aachen University was completed, with his Thesis describing and analyzing the development of LASER treatment protocols for Periodontology. Additionally, he was also active as teaching staff in the educational curriculum of that program.

Furthermore, during the years 2009 – 2011 his LASER expertise contributed in research and publishing, as an external associate at the Fixed Prosthodontics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece.Oral Surgery and Implantology, was a field that naturally came as completion of his clinical and academic educational background. Continuing his training in Austria, at the University of Krems, he became a certified Oral Surgeon.

Following his professional training, Dr. D. Charoulis is a partner and senior surgeon in a private clinic in Baden Württemberg in Germany and an associate oral surgeon of several dental clinics. The last years, he has also established a private practice in Greece orientated in Full Mouth Rehabilitations and Implantology. Dr. D. Charoulis is an active International Speaker, as well as a Hands On Lecturer in dental congresses and symposiums all over the world. He is appointed a Key Opinion Leader, by Dentsply Sirona in Implantology and an Ambassador of the innovative system Acuris. He is a PEERS member for Southern Germany and in this year’s annual meeting, he presented the development of a new surgical instrument facilitating autologous bone harvesting. These combined with his membership in major dental societies and strong support to his moto “we learn only if we share”, make him a dedicated and passionate trainer. Hence, his successful series of courses, starting from basic surgical skills to microsurgery and simple implant placement to complex treatment planning and multiple implant supported restorations.Treating patients both in Greece and Germany, his daily practice fields of work are, Aesthetic Hard and Soft Tissue Management in Implant Dentistry, Bone and Soft tissue Grafting and Reconstructive Techniques, Lateral and Vertical Tissue Reconstructions as well as Implant Prosthetic Treatment.

Dr Martin Wanendeya, BDS (U Bristol) DipImpDent RCS (Eng) (Adv. Cert)

Dr. Martin Wanendeya graduated from the University of Bristol in 1995. Since 2004 he has been a partner at Ten Dental, an interdisciplinary specialist referral practice in Clapham, South London, where his work is limited to implant and aesthetic dentistry. He is a tutor on the diploma in implant dentistry program at the Royal College of Surgeons, England, having been awarded the diploma at advanced level. He has a special interest on digital implant dentistry and digital smile design and has lectured internationally on all aspects of implant dentistry. In his spare time he enjoys art, music and photography.

Steven Campbell, RDT

Steven Campbell is a GDC registered dental technician with over 25 years of dental experience, and a passion for the life-changing service the dental team provide to patients. Working with skilled teams and some of the most highly regarded dental surgeons in the UK, he provides solutions for all aspects of restorative dentistry, especially implants and the new digital and CAD/CAM workflows.

Over time his passion for dental technology has evolved and intertwined with his love of cutting edge technology to the point where he decided to open and run a fully digital dental laboratory with his team at Nexus Dental in 2015.
